All files should be submitted on CD-Rom or DVD-Rom only. All disks must be accompanied by a clear list of files to be printed and a hard copy proof (preferably in color) of each file to be printed. Files under 3mb may be submitted via e-mail attachment, with an accompanying jpeg proof, to info@bigcolorprints.com.

Macintosh:

Quark XPress 3.0 - 6.5 layouts:
All bitmap images should be Photoshop CMYK TIFF files at no less than 100 dpi and no more than 150 dpi at actual printed size. Include all fonts and embedded image files. Convert all type to outlines in embedded Illustrator or Freehand EPS files. NOTE: We cannot accept Quark XPress files for fabric graphic printing - please use Photoshop or Illustrator to create graphic files for fabric printing.

Photoshop:
Files should be in CMYK mode at no less than 100 dpi and no more than 150 dpi at actual printed size. Files can be saved as EPS, JPG (use highest quality settings for jpeg), TIF (with LZW compression) or Photoshop native format.

Illustrator:
We accept all past and current Illustrator file versions. IMPORTANT: Be sure to convert all type to outlines and include embedded images on disk. Embedded images should be Photoshop CMYK TIFF files at no less than 100 dpi and no more than 150 dpi at actual printed size. Please do not use Illustrator's "transparency" functions as they may print unreliably. Transparency functions include such things as drop shadows, partially transparent objects, feathering, inner or outer glows, etc. These types of effects are more reliably and efficiently done in Photoshop.

File setup and handling charges may apply to files that do not conform to our specifications. Specific color matches are subject to an additional fee.

File types not accepted:

File types which we cannot accept for printing include, but are not limited to, the following: PDF (Portable Document Format), Adobe InDesign, CorelDraw, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher, Miscrosoft Visio, Microsoft Excel, and WordPerfect. Many of these programs may offer ways to save graphics compatible with large format printing and our file specifications. Consult your software manuals or your IT department for assistance.

Beautiful Displays is a Hewlett-Packard Certified Print Center and an 3M Certified Fabricator, assuring you superior service and quality.

A note about resolution and file size:
Larger files, such as those for photomural popup displays and banner stands, should be done at no more than 100 dpi at actual size. Higher resolutions are unnecessary for these applications and result in overly large and cumbersome file sizes. Files which contain small text or fine detail should be done at 150 dpi at actual size for optimum clarity and sharpness.

Graphics Warranty
Beautiful Displays/Big Color Prints warrants all trade show graphics for 6 months from the time of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship. Rush jobs may be required to sign a waiver of graphics warranty.
